Orders can get lost between story replies and new messages. Note the buyer’s handle, their items and any deposit received. Return to the conversation without hunting for the numbers.

Take the facts from Direct, not the whole conversation
One message can contain an item, a price and a promise to pay. Each means something different in your records.

What should you copy from Direct to keep track of an order?
Sold for $39. How much is left?Item, handle and agreed price
Record the item, quantity, discounted price and buyer handle. Save important requests in notes. Messages stay in Instagram; you create the Kram record manually.
Deposit and remaining balance
A $10 deposit on a $59 order leaves $49 due. Enter the deposit amount and receipt date. Mark full payment only when the balance actually arrives.
Payment and shipping are separate events
After shipping, add the tracking number and status. If the balance arrives later, mark final payment while keeping the shipping status. Search sales by item, buyer or tracking number.

Does Kram import messages automatically?
No. The example illustrates creating a record manually. There is no Direct access, automatic messaging or bank payment verification.
Where do I record an advance?
Expand “Advance payment” in the sale form and enter the amount and receipt date. Amounts use the order currency. You can also record a refunded advance.
Scope of this example
Kram does not read Direct or send replies. Payment and delivery are not verified automatically. You update statuses.
